Why
Sherefe?
Sherefe means cheers in Turkish. Owning a
restaurant has been a dream for Owner/Chef, Mustafa
Somar for many years. Finally, on March 17, 2003, the
dream became reality, blending 30 years of hospitality
experience with a genuine love of people and food. Sherefe
Mediterranean Grill is the first authentic Turkish/Greek
restaurant in Fayetteville.
Where We Came From
Hoping to spend more time with their children,
Mustafa and Kathy moved from Orange County, California
in 2002. Mustafa has a great passion and talent for
making delicious meals...from soup to nuts, as they
say. Kathy spent most of the first three years greeting
customers and waiting tables. We treat everybody that
comes through the door the same as if they were coming
into our house and truly hope they feel as welcome. |
